How to pick additional delivery quantity after creating Transfer Order .

Hi

Sales order has been created for 30 pc of material , with reference to this sales order , delivery has been created .Afterwards I created transfer order in lt03 and got it confirmed in LT12. However , PGI has not been carried out .

Afterwards , I went to VL02N and manually increased the materialsu2019 quantity to 60 pc in delivery .

In delivery packing status is partially picked .

I request you to help me how can I pick another 30pc as already transfer order has been created and confirmed for this delivery .

Either system is not allowing me to cancel transfer order in order to create fresh transfer order to with reference to this delivery . Otherwise , I could have done it .

Could you please suggest me , how to go about it .

Hi,

Delete the handling unit assignment and cancel the transfer order.Then enter the 60 pcs and create new transfer order.

Hi,

In my point of view you are doing wrong step.

If you have created sales order and done delivery of 30 pieces.

Then go to VA02 and change quantity to 60 over there not in VL02n.

Then create delivery of that document and system will automatically create delivery document for rest of 30 material only then create your transfer order.

Just try out this step and tell us the result

If i am wrong some where then please let me know

You can try LT15 also to cancel the transfer order.

Hi,

In VL02N transaction select the item and click on packing icon it will take over into the next screen there you deactivate the handling assginment or delete it and save the delivery.

There is an excellent way to handle your issue

While creating TO in t code LT03 in the initial screen control tab if you give pick quantity as 2 after the TO creation the system will simultaneouslely do PGI also in a single shot

This means the delivery quantity cant be changed in the VL02N

The whole VL02N will be display mode fully greyed out

That means after TO you cant change the delivery

If extra qty has to be added then it has to be a separate order only

I have practised this only and for the past two hrs i was breaking my head how come you are changing delivery after TO creation and for me it was in display mode(fully greyed out) even in VL02N and i found out i am using adopt pick qty as 2 in the initial screen of LT03 which does PGI in a single shot

This should be a good solution for you

Even the solution suggested by Mr.Raj Malhotra you will face the same problem

In this method , handling units are not being deleted system is throwing following error u201Cwithin the delivery, posting change not possible for stocku201D. If I go ahead with processing of delivery , I will get following message u201CPack situation does not allow exit and Cancel delivery processingu201D

If I select either u201Ccancelu201D or u201C packu201D , changes made in delivery have not been saved .

after creating transfer order , in my delivery , quantity column is not grayed out , it isu2019 allowing me to change the quantity in delivery .

Hi,

Increase the delivery quantity in VL02N and after that choose (menu) > Subsequent functions > Create Transfer Order.

Hopefully you will get the new TO for the additional delivery quantity.

Hi

In the initial screen of LT03 in the control tab adopt pick qty 2 if you maintain then in a single shot TO and PGI will happen

Once PGI happens to a delivery the whole delivery document will be greyed out even in VL02N(change mode)

I have definately worked on this in real time and tested this now also

Once a delivery is PGIed the delivery document will be in display mode only(fully greyed out) even in transaction VL02N
