Hi Everybody,
I am getting error when I am trying to do PGI. Base unit is EA and sale unit is KAI and conversion factor is maintained in Addition data (MM01)say eg 2KAI= 1EA.
If I use sale uint as EA, then i am able to do PGI, but same is not possible when sale unit is KAI. Previously we did not face problem with KAI.
Error"Material's product unit must be entered in whole numbers".
Kindly let me know some valuable inputs.
Regards,
Jaiprakash.
Hi jaiprakash
As you have maintained in MMR the conversions as 2KAI = 1EA .
While creating sales order you might have given order qty as 1.5 EA . So you are able to do delivery with EA only and not with KAI
Check the whole numbers that means , have you maintained any decimals or not for KAI ,as KAI is created by you.So kindly check in KAI base unit of measure configuration only , there is some mistake

Hi,
What is the quantity you have given in sales order?
Hope my understanding of your problem is correct.
Suppose you have given 3KAI, it means that if we calculate the quantity in base unit it will be 1.5EA which is not the whole number.
Pls check once again by giveing the the quantity so as the value in base unit also will be whole number.
Ex: 2,4,6 etc...

Abhee.
Hi jaiprakash
check wheather for you have maintained decimals for KAI sales unit or not , because while maintaining UoM for KAI there as i said earlier check whole numbers , This is because of the whole numbers only the problem is coming
IMG - SAP NetWeaver - General Settings - Check Units of Measurement ( check KAI)
Also check wheather stock is available or not go to MMBE and check for that material

Srinath
Hi jaiprakash
Check the open orders of that material through VA05 by giving that material
Secondly can you tell how you are giving sales order quantity ( is it like 1.5,2.5 , 2 etc ) and what is the sales unit of measure it is coming when you are creating sales order. Is it KAI , or EA ?
Regards
Srinath
