New sales organization

Hi All,

The requirement is to create a new sales organization for the existing org.structure. I just wanna know what are all the necessary assignments and settings that needs to be done for this?

Hi Chandu,

After creating the New Sales Organization ensure that it is assigned to the Company code.

Then assign the relevant Divisions and Distribution channels to the Sales Orgnization and set up the sales areas within it.

Then assign the sales Organization and Distribution channel to the respective plants.

Create new and Extend existing Customer masters, Material Masters etc to the newly created sales areas if they exist in that sales area.

Also assign the Pricing procedure with respect to the new Sales Area.

Assign relevant Sales Document types to the New sales area.
