Dear All Guru,
SAP have put some logic for numbering movement types
like MOV TYPE starting with 6... for sales and others like that
do anybody have the list of this logic...so it's easy to remember most of the movement type and to understand the meaning of any movement type.

Hi,
A few more logics:
1) Reversal movement type = Movement type + 1 (always)
Eg. 101 : GR for PO
102 : Reversal of GR for PO (this kind of movement types are automatically picked up by the system in reversal transaction.

Movement type Starting from 1 are for goods Receipt
Movement type Starting from 2 are for issuing a goods to cost object like cost center, order, wbs..etc.
Movement type Starting from 3 and 4 are for issuing a transfer posting.
Movement type Starting from 5 are for goods Receipt without PO
Movement type Starting from 6 are for Sales.
