Data Services Repository in DB2 missing canned functions.

In our development environment we are using Data Services XI 3.0. We have a requirement that our Data Services jobs be stored in Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 repositories. I created repositories in all three database platforms. The DB2 version is v8.1. I am able to import the job atl file into each repository. When I open a Script object and access the list of functions the DB2 repository is missing most of the canned functions that I find in Oracle and SQL Server repositories. These include all Date and String functions. Most Miscellaneous functions are also missing. There are a host of other missing canned functions.

Can someone explain this descrepency?

Thanks for your time on this.

We searched log files and found no errors.

We then decided to attempt re-creating the local repository. We checked the Show Details box.

The local repository was reported has having been successfully created. This was the result we had before.

We then checked for canned functions and the list matched to those of our Oracle and SQL Server local repositories.

So, best guess is that something went wrong on the initial local repository creation that was either not reported or reported, but we missed.
