How to Activate MRP Area?

Dear All,

I understand that in order to activate MRP area I have to do it through SPRO

Production -> MRP -> Master Data -> MRP Areas -> Activate MRP for MRP Areas

HOWEVER, as soon as I open this transaction I get the following message at the status bar

"No entries exist, double click for long text" basically telling me to create a new one.

I go to EDIT -> New Entries

I still dont get that check box for activating the MRP Area.

What should I do?
