Hi

You would need to set up the following steps:

1. RFC connection to new backend system

2. Define Logical systems

3. Define Backend Systems

3. Define Backend systems for Product category

4. Use Txn SMOEAC to create a new R/3 site type

5. Set up ALE/distribution model for the new R/3 system

6. Replication of Product categories, plant and vendor master

7. Finally you would have to make backend dependent changes in the org structure for the new backend system. e.g company code, pur groups, plants, product categories, doc. type, etc.

Hello,

Maybe, you will have also to implement BAdI BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS to send purchasing documents in corresponding R/3 backend according to defined criteria.

Hi,

It is not big difference connecting with 1 backend. You need to add backend system in "Define Backend System" in SPRO. SRM system recognize each backend by logical system name.

Hi Ingen

System type is ERP_2.0 for ECC 6.0 when you define backend system as system type.
