Hi All,
I have data in the cube as 100 for currency CLP - chilean peaso and in report it shows as 10000 which is incorrect.
How to resolve this issues please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Mukesh
Hi,
Scaling Factor will only make the displayed number smaller, eg. 200 to 20 , if scaling factor set to 10.
Have you check the actual data in the infoprovider and what is the amount there for CLP.
Have you set and currency conversion in the query?
regards,
K

Hi Mukesh,
besides the hints of K I remember that we once had a similar topic. However I had not been involved directly. As far as I remember you can set decimal places and other settings for each currency differently. Perhaps you have a wrong setting for this currency?
The settings can e.g. be checked and changed over here (however be careful since these settings are changed for the whole system!):
1. Go to transaction "spro"
2. Click on "SAP Reference IMG"
3. Choose: SAP NetWeaver / General Settings / Currencies / Set Decimal Places for Currencies
Here is an extract of the description for the decimal places of currencies:
"Example: If you have set currency USD to have
two decimal places and you post an amount of 100
USD, an amount of 10000 USD is stored in the
currency field in the database."
As soon as you have solved the problem let us know the outcome! Good luck.
Brgds,
Marcel
Hi Mukesh,
if you click on your KF within Query Designer there is a tab called "display". There you can set the "Number of Decimal Places" and the "Scaling Factor". Probably the setting of the "Scaling Factor" is 100. If so chose 1 instead and set the "Number of Decimal Places" to 0,00.
If this does not work just let us know.
Brgds,
Marcel
