Dears,

In STMS there are two options:

Delievery after confirmation from->

STMS->Transport Route->double click on system->in Quality Assurance.

Mass transport and Single transport in transport strategy

And in System Overview->Goto->Transport Domain->Management tab

In Security Options group box Trusted Services

Please suggest what are the functions of these options(Delievery after confirmation,Mass transport and Single transport ,TMS Trusted Services)

Hai,

Delivery after confirmation,Mass transport and Single transport are Transport strategies which you need to define according to your business needs.

Delivery confirmation is a Quality Assurance procedure which helps to transport the request after confirmation.

You can only set Delivery after confirmation for the whole system. If you use Extended Transport Control, then all clients with the following attributes become QA clients in the system:

Clients that are the target of a delivery or consolidation

Clients that deliver to other clients

Hi Yaganand,

Thanks for your reply.

Things got clear to me except the Mass transport option.

As I understood If i deactivate mass Transport option import all option will be deactivated from STMS,Is there anything also that will be effectivated by changing from Mass transport to Single Transport.

Please suggest..

Hai,

Mass Import is used to do bunch of Transports when required. The import option Leave transport request in queue for later import causes requests that have been imported as single transports to be imported in the correct order in the next import of all requests. This option is useful if you have to make preliminary imports for individual requests. This prevents older objects from being imported at the next regular import of all the requests.

This is the main objective of MassTransport, you can Deactivate Import all truck button using NO_IMPORT_ALL parameter.

Nothing will be affected by changing from Mass transport to Single Transport, it depends upon your business requirements.
