BO for SAP R/3 ECC6

Dear Friends,

I would like to use BO for operational reporting using SAP R/3 ECC6 as datasource.

As i am new and i dont know about BO thats why i want to know the path

or products of BO which are suitable for SAP R/3 ECC6 operational reporting.

Hi Malik,

you can use Crystal Reports on top of SAP ECC directly using InfoSets, ABAP Functions, ABAP Query, Data Cluster and tables as a data source.

Is there any integration kit. or ODBC or any other way.

Hi,

the connectivity is part of the BusinessObjects Integration Kit for SAP Solutions.

Yes i want to know what is that integration kit.

and where to install this kit on R/3 or on BO server.

Any link about Integration kit will be helpful.

Hi Malik

You will need to install the Integration Kit for SAP on the BO server and the clients that use Designer or Crystal Reports (and connect to SAP)
