Hi, Experts.
Here is the scenario:
We have two systems: one is release 4.7, the other one is ECC6.
in system 4.7, all functions of GOS are active in transaction 'MM03',
in transaction 'MM03' of system ECC6.0, however, 'Create Attachment', 'Create Note' and 'Create external document(URL) are inactive. In menu 'Attachment List', button 'Modify', 'Delete' are inactive, either.
How can i active the above functions of GOS for transaction 'MM03'?
Thanks.
Try with SAP ALL/SAP NEW, if it works, its authorisation related.

Hi,
GOS is the default application which dont have authoriation object to have a control on it.
one of the scenario for this would be, in SU01, check whethr first name and last name is entered to user.
Thank You,
Manoj
pls consider points if useful..!!

He means the first name and last name fields populated in the user information in SU01. It has affects on some areas, for example, digital signatures will not work unless both are populated. I don't think it affects GOS though but its worth a try.
We have previously disabled some of the functions in GOS with abap to prevent users from using them. It may be worth asking your abap guy to debug it and see if he can find anything there, otherwise it may be an OSS related problem.
Hi, Manoj
I am not sure about changing user type.
And I logon some other ECC6.0 systems, the 3 functions: 'Create Attachment', 'Create Note' and 'Create external Document' in T-CODE MM03 are all active. but only in one ECC6.0 system,
I can only active 'Store Business Document', Other 3 functions cannot be active. And the user type in other ECC6.0 systems is 'Dialog'. So i don't think that will work.
Thank you.
