    Hi Mercedes,

    SAP uses the following code:

    colNavPanel_onclick() and
    expNavPanel_onclick()

    (view source of detailed navigation, I can't qoute the code in here which gives me a 501 error)

    Noël

    PS. Rewarding points is appreciated if this post is helpfull.

    • 1) Open the default framework page (pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/frameworkpage)

      2) Open the innerpage (com.sap.portal.innerpage)

      3) This is the detailed navigation par file: com.sap.portal.detailedNavigationTree

      You can download this par file via System Administration > Support.

      Tip: create a new detailednavigation par file, deploy it and put it in your own frameworkpage. Check the Blogs how to adjust the frameworkpage. There is enough information there.

    Check out page properties to hide the navigation panel.

    Hi Mercedes,

    For changing the layout of the page :

    1) Copy the default Framework page from the following location to your folder :

    System Admin >Portal Display >Desktop and Display Rules >Portal Content >Portal Users >Standard Portal Users >....

    2) Open the copied page here you can set the visibility for different parts of a page like Masthead, Detailed Navigation, etc.. Depending upon your requirement you can delete that frame from the page or keep it. Assign your iviews to this page.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards.

    Hi Mercedes,

    In the Page Layout > In Property Category > Select Show All in the drop down >There is a property Initial State of Navigation Panel > Select Closed from the drop down--> Save it...

    Hope it will serve the purpose.

    Regards.
