Production Scrap Process

Hello Guru's,

We are following discrete manufacturing process.We have an die casting material in which for A material we are maintain the BOM for child B and C. where C material is By product material(-ve value maintained). It is planned scrap 5% which is maintained as by product. When i am confirming the production order for 100 number for A , the 531 movement for 5 numbers in C has been posted automatically. But in my case sometimes the actual scrap percentage will increase compare to plan scrap.

In this scenario how i will book the actual scrap in the confirmation

Thanks for your inputs. But in our case the goods movement screen is not editable. We have put the Screen variant on this.

As per my understanding,

You can maintain the actual scarp qty in production order components (-ve Sign qty),So that same quantity will be displayed co11n goods movement screen.

Please share the BOM and production order component screen

Hello Pugazhendi,

If you are using CO11N to execute confirmation, you can click "goods movement" button at left upper corner and enter/adjust the true Goods movement in next screen.
