Hi all,
Let's say i've 150 users. All the 150 user id's password should be updated. Among the 150 users, 100 users can update their password after i unlocked the SAP ID and provided a default password. The 100 users can now login to system and after giving the default password, a popup will come so that they can enter the new password.
Now i want for remaining 50 users, the popup coming for providing the new password should be disabled. Those 50 users should be able to login from the first screen itself.
Is there any possibility to do the same? Also all the users are Dialog users, not service users.
How we can attain this scenario? Please help.
Regards
Praveen
Dear Praveen,
Define two type of security policies. For the first part 100 users define a custom policy with option to self password reset. For the other 50 users create a custom security policy withouth this option. Then assign the users to the desired security policy.
How to define is described here:
And how to assign is described here:

Hello Praveen,
Do you mean that you would set a password for the remaining 50 users and they "must not" change it?
I do not thinkg that his is possible for dialog users... The users must change the password, so only the users themselves know their own password.

Isaías
