Moving Average Price

I have read some of the notes in this Forum regarding moving average price. In our business, we maintain the cost at the purchasing org. level which means it is applicable for all sites. My questions are:

1. How can I have different moving average price at different sites? Is it possible that when some sites are performing sales without doing receipt affect the moving average price?

2. We have one cost since Go-Live date. There was no subsequent purchase orders. The inventory in our sites are from the initial inventory load. How can I have a different moving average in article/site than the master data cost?

Appreciate anybody who can help.

Thank you.

Sure you could have different cost price per site.

For new articles, maintain it under MM42 logstics:site -> accounting.

For articles with stock, use Tcode MR21.

When you load inital stock (e.g. MB1C, 561), there's field 'Amount in LC', you specify the cost here, if it's initial, system will use the cost price from article master, i.e. MBEW-VERPR.

    Regards,

    Steven
