How System determines Scale Basis for conditions?

Hi All,

Good Morning,

If I set the Scale Basis for a Condition type in PO (ex:Freight Condition) as M - Time Period Scale - Month or N - Time Period Scale - Years. How does the sytem determine the values for the above?

I.e If I am using a To Scale

Time Period Freight Amount

upto 1 month - Rs.1000

upto 3 month - Rs 2500

If I set the condition record for my freight condition as above then how system determines the particular amount based on time period when I create a PO?

Hope its clear,

Regards,

    Hi

Each condition record has a Validity from & Valid to dates.

The Period will be calculated from the Valid from date.

Befor maintaining scales in the Conditions Screen you can check the Valid from & Valid to dates.

    Thanks & Regards

    Kishore

      HI Kishore,

As you mentioned if system is considering the condition record validity period then how the system will determine the record in the above case?

I.e if I am maintaining a condition record with scales as mentioned above

      Upto 1 month - Rs.1000

      Upto 3 month - Rs 3000

then which validity period I have to enter?

My requirement is system should should automatically determine the values from the condition records as per the time period.

      Hope my requirement is clear.

      Regards,
