RFC connection required to connect PI system to ECC system? what will be the connection type?

We will be receiving an reverse file from target PI system which will be reached to our PI system.

This file has to be sent to ECC. We have used SOAP sender and RFC receiver( with ECC details) in our PI system.

Now do I need any other RFC connection which connects our PI system to ECC system so that the file will reach there?

I'm using 7.0 PI version.

I tried searching blogs on SCN but did not get clarity. Please help.

Hello Vidhya,

I dont think you need any setup in ECC for receiving the RFC.
