Hi,
Is it possible to reset/undo a transport?
I have a transport in Dev. containing activation of some business content. Unfortunatly this activation, activated some already used objects (already in production), they have now been reset to the business content version(!) The list of modified objects is long, and therefor I hope for some "smart" way of undoing the changes in the transport. Rollback of the entire transport would be perfect, but unforunatly not possible. So, is the only way of reseting theses objects the "hard" way, the manual way? Or?
The transport is not released from development.
Thanks.

Dear AH,
In case u have not released the Request from Dev then Goto SE03 and Unlock the request.
After unlocking the Request u can collect the objects in a new request and Transport it.

I unlocked the request, and changed one of the objects from the "Revised" to the "Active" version - which is what I had before the change. Then I tried to save this "Active" version in a new transport, not yet released, works fine. But when I look at the object now, its back in the "Reveised" version(?)
Did i miss something in SE03?

be very careful while transporting the same ... once someone managed to reactivate our material master from business content and transported it across ... it wreaked havoc for some time till we got the same corrected and transported ... luckily we realized the problem in QA and had to take a lot of rearguard action for the same.
Thanks for the warning Arun.
I've deleted the transport with the activation of several BC objects. Then I've manually adjusted these objects according to the same objects in production, in a new transport. The content release of the objects is now 7.0.
Even though the objects now are identical to the objects in prod, can this give us problems in our master data? like the material master, which is one of the affected objects.
Thanks,
AH
Hi AH,
Unfortunately you cant revert those changes in BI as you do in ABAP.
go through the link below
Also two extreeme ways our reverse transport, ie QA to dev.. but rarely will any landscape have such connections established. consult with your basis if this possible and the amount of effort needed..
Also there is a risk of loosing recent developments to those objects that were not yet moved to quality...
There is one more method, but it will wipe of all other peoples developments as well..
COPYBACK from QA to DEV .
I think, you would be better of comparing those objects and manually reverting the changes.

Sunmit.
