Change Openhub Dest

I created an openhub dest on AL11 in directory /usr/sap/<sid>/DVEBMGS06/work and now I want to change the file location.

The location is greyed out and will not let me pull down on the "Directory" to navigate to the new location for the file even though I am in change mode !!

Is there another way I can change this?

Mike

Go into SE16 for table RSBFILE and choose your Open Hub Destination, then change the Path Name or File Name.

I'm in a 3.1 system and it worked fine, if you're in a different version then this might not work.

    • Hemay / Brian,

Using table RSBFILE I could select my openhub dest and edit the contents, but the resulting change does not get reflected back in the object.

Additionally, there is no "default location" there. It is a location for the openhub object. When I change the location and press "ck table" it is looking for some foreign key in another table.

Looks like I an relegated to creating a logical filename using tcode: file.

Thanks for your answers. If you think of anything else please let me know.

I created the logical filename / destination using tcode FILE.

That's the preferred way to do it ... with a logical filename.

Looking back at my system. We have changed the Open Hub Destination for my filename to the directory on the App server that we are using. There are two version of the record .... an Active and Maintained version. You want the Active version to have the path of your choosing.

But, like I said before, logical filename is preferred.
