Hello,
I forgot to mention that this problem happends only in 7.0 workbooks. We are working with 3.X workbooks for a long time and the workbooks never lost the connection to one of the queries.
In 3.X workbook, You can save the workbbok in a role (sa suggested by Praveen) or you can save them localy. Both ways should work. Is this functionality changed in 7.0 workbooks?
Thank you,
Amir
Hi Praveen,
I added a new Data Provider to the workbook and connected it to the wanted query and to the analysis grid.
all the queries in the workbook are refreshed. but after i save it localy sometimes, some of the queries disconnect from the table and i have to insert them again (create a new analysis grid).
Thanks,
Amir
By saving locally you mean saving it as local file ?
Even if you save it locally and later open it with Bex analyzer (7.0) it should open (as long you have saved it to roles or favorites before).
Does it work fine when you choose "Refresh workbook on open" property and open it using
Open Workbook option in Bex ?

You used Bex toolbar to "save workbook" or used the normal excel "Save" ???
You need to use Bex toolbar to save.
