Web Dynpro upgrade from 2004 to CE

Hi,

I was wondering if I deploy a Web Dynpro application written for EP6 on the CE environment it'll work?

If not is there any tool to upgrade the source from the older version to the new one, I know that many wd components from the version 2004 to 2004s has earned a lot of improvements so it is necessary re import the project and check for any problem during build, for instance if all required fields are filled, etc.

But as composition environment is totally different since the beginning as the NWDS is based on the Eclipse 3, and the implementation had some changes like the interface of a component is really an interface that has any implementation, so if i re-import the project i'll probably have problems with that.

Any suggestion? any experience? any documentation or tip?

It will give you the details. There is no big difference whether you migrate from 2004 to Ce or from 7.0 to CE.
