Output of transaction CJIC in foreground and background

Hi Experts,

When iam running CJIC transaction in foreground it displaying lineitems to be settled. But when iam doing samething in bacground it is saying no lineitems. As result my BDC program is failing.Can anyone explain me why CJIC giving zero lineitems in background eventhough it has some lineitem which are getting displayed in foreground.
