Hi All ,

I have been working in MDM for almost a year.And I know SRM-MDM go hand in hand.I want to learn SRM.Can you please help me how to go about it?.I want to explore the SRM area now.Could you please share some matrials?

Hi Arnab,

You have taken good decision and you can easily learn SRM B'coz you have hands on SRM MDM so you already aware of how to rise a Shopping Cart. First of we have to do some configuration settings there are two type Technical aswell as Cross appication basic settings.

In technical basic settings we have to

Define Logical system and assigning of that LS to corresponding clients thr trans SALE.

Define RFC destination Trans SM59.

Define Backend System.

Define Backend System for the Product category

Cross Apllication settings

Define Organizational management

Define number ranges foer the SC and follow on documents

etc..

and there are four type scenarios

Classic scenario

Extended Classic scenario

De-coupled scenario and

Standalone scenario

you can filter the type of training and the country. Details can be found there as well.

I suppose SRM210 is fine, but probably they have a newer version of the course. You have to ask. Hope this helps you a bit.
