Customer descripion changes not appearing in the invoice

Customer description is changed in SAP on 10/5/2018. As per the standard SAP customer address changes are updated in already existing sales order.

So, will it be updating in already invoiced documents as well?

The invoice has usually only a reference to the customer master. If you go to VF03 then you will see the new address after the customer master was changed. Also if you create a new message for an old invoice then you will see the new current address on the document.

Only in case of document addresses like it is in case of CPD customers you will always see the address as it was entered in the document.

So check the table VBPA for your document and find the KUNNR and ADRNR fields

Then go into KNA1 table and see what ADRNR your customer has.

If the number is different then you know that you have a document specific address (address was changed in the document) and so it will always use this address instead of the new address from the customer.
