Hi sap gurus,

I av an issue.

When the document is in the primary status (WR) the request has to be sent to many users for the comments about the document.In turn after the comments given for the document the approver has to get the message i.e. Feedback of the document from the user.

How to map this in DMS.If so pls let me know the detail procedure.

Hi,

This can be achieved through document distribution (manually)..

1. create a document and set to WR status.

2. create a reciepient list containing all the members to whom mail has to be sent for their feedback.

3. if all those members are SAP users then through authorization object, C_DRAW_TCS, display access should be provided so that all those members can check the content of the document for giving their suggestion.

4. all the members can reply back to same mail, also provided with some attachment as their feedback.

Hi,

t-codes related to distribution,

1.

CVI1 - Create

CVI2 - Change

CVI3 - Display

CVI4 - Recipients of document

CVI6 - Documents of recipient

2. For better distinguishing among the reciepients, Context can be created through SPRO>cross-application components>document distribution>context>define context

3. once user creates a document, distribution can be done thru,

environment>document distribution>reciepient list-->create (enter description and all the user's ID and save)

environment>document distribution>reciepient list>display all reciepients (assign context here if created), click on document, and then, environment>document distribution-->start distribution

mail will be delieved to reciepients Business workplace (inbox).

Regarding automatic document distribution, workflow is required which needs workflow abap consultant.

for the requirement of your type, manual document distribution will be OK.
