Hi Dear,
Transaction Code : RSPC
Process Chain: A process chain is sequence of processes that are scheduled to wait in the back ground for an event.
Some of these processes trigger a separate event that can,in turn, start other processes.
Uses:
In an operating BI sys there are a multiple of processes that occur regularly.
if we use process chains,
Automate the complex schedules in BW with the help of the event-controlled processing.
Visualize the processes by using network graphics
Centrally control and monitorprocess chains.
Openness:
The abstract meaning of process chain as any process with a defined beginning and end
enables openness with regard to the type of process that can be integrated to a process chain.
The principle of openness is applied to the theory behind process chains.
Security Using process chains offers a high amount of process security, which based on the principles of back ground jobs management.
processes are scheduled before they run and can be monitored with the standard batch monitor.
background start subsequent processes.
Short dump and terminations are recognized and handled respectively.
Flexibility the subsequent process must get all the information is needs for a correct run from its procedures.
this allows new process types to be integrated with out the existing type having to be adjusted.
I hope this is helps u.
Regards,
Kanna.

For this you have to Go to Transaction RSPC1...here you can create the Process Chain..
In process chain u can schedule no. of JOBs depends on your requirement..
For example you can Create a job for Forecast Run...the same job you can schedule in Process Chain..

Hi Chakri,
Please go through this link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/ed/f061c18ddd79448c49064f0e645725/frameset.htm
to get the complete information on process chains.
Moreover from my side,
Process chains are sequence of multiple jobs/transaction codes/events which are logistically connected to each other parallely or in some logical sequence and can be carried out by triggering the first event. The advantage is that we dont have to trigger multiple jobs and then monitoring it. Job logs also monitored collectively. Process chains are used mainly in DP and to some extent in SNP & PPDS.
Hope this information helps, please confirm
