Hi Gurus,

we have some process orders which are Partiallly Delivererd and TECO status ,we did WIP calculation ($0.00) and Variance Calculation ($200.32), now we are trying to settle the order in KO88 and we are getting a message KD213 , sender already setteled or there is nothing to settle, But we want to settle the Variance.

by leaving that we wanted to close the order in COR2 it gives the Error message KD276,WIP in FI accounting still needs to be cleared,I wonder We have no WIP but this error says we need to clear WIP? we have only Variance, How to settle the Order now?

Please help me,

Thank you ,

Nikitha

Hi Nikita,

I gone through this thread and surprised....

when the system is showing the messge "FI postings for WIP need to be cleared" at the time of Settlement,

go to transaction code KKA7 and delete the WIP data on the Order...

Then try to settle the order.

"There are no accrued amounts on the order" comes when there is no cost pending on the order. (Means, no addication cost has been booked on the Order after the previous settlement).

If you are able to see the balance in the Order and if you get the message "There are no accrued amounts on the order" in KO88, then, please go back to your Production / Process Order, check the "Positng Date" of the Cost booked to the Order

THIS DEFINITELY WORK, IF NOT CALL ME

Just need to run Settlement becuase that is the transaction which posts both variance and WIP to FI. Sometimes its weird but you need to do the process just for the heck of it.

Thank you , I think you missed my Question, I really appreciate you for telling the secret of Settlement to get both WIP and Variance in one shot and not going to each transactions, thats fine,

But I asked about the difficulty during the settlement (as it says nothing to settle ) and the message and COR2 Order Close Message (saying Clear WIP first then Close order) ,If you can Look in to that , That will be great.

Thank you,,

Double-check the period for which you are running the settlement - that often gives this message.

we wanted to settle this in the month of Dec 2008 , in settlement Transaction we are using the same month (12) and year 2008,

1 ) is this possible for a partially delivered order to have a TECO status , which is my case ,

2) we reversed the TECO status and tried KO88 and system gives "Status DLV/TECO was reversed after settlement of period 012 2008" message KD285 , what can be done now?

3) If we want to reverse this entire Partially delivered order ,that is we will issue a new order in place of this old order , what might be the procedure for reversal of Process order ?

your help appreciated , please try try to answer 1,2,3 manner.

Check that the period for which you get a variance/WIP, id the same period that you are trying to Settle.

1. You can TECO an order at any stage of delivery.

2. This message is telling you that you have already settled this order, so there cannot be WIP/Variance on it. If you want to rerun the settlement, you need to reverse the previous settlement first.

3. Do not try and do a new order, this order will just cause you problems later on - e.g. when you try and archive. It might also be difficult to recreate all the movements on the order, I don;t know what is involved.

Pete ,

Thank you for the response,

so I can have TECO even for partial DLV orders, I thought TECO can only be given, once all the delivery is made on that Order, then what is the Purpose of TECO?

I did reverse of Settlement in KO88 but it gives the same message KD285 which I said earlier making order in non TECO (changed status in COR2)

so I did TECO again in COR2 and tried to reverse the Settelemnt but gives the same message KD285

our user already created a New Process order for this and wanted to reverse the old TECO/Partially DLV order now and CLOSE it, so what can be done now?
