Hi everybody,
I got a problem on the portal. When I am trying to access the leave request service in the working time, i am getting a critical error. Error says "no Customizing settings for absence type".
"A critical error has occurred. Processing of the service had to be terminated. Unsaved data has been lost.
Please contact your system administrator."
Please try to let me know the solution for this guys.

Hi,
The following is the config. of absence types.
IMG --> Personnel Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration --> Absences --> Absence Catalog --> Group Personnel Subareas for Attendances and Absences.
IMG --> Personnel Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration --> Absences --> Absence Catalog --> Define Absence Types.

Hi Aks,
You'll need to provide more information - is this an Absence code that is delivered out of the box from SAP or a custom absence type?
Check the configuration under SPRO -> Time Management -> Time Data Recording and Administration -> Absences -> Absence Catalog.
If you can, log into SAP and try putting your time in via CAT2 using the same absence code and see if you can replicate the error, hopefully with a better underlying error message.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by absence code.Can you be more specific in the configuration on what to do. I am kind of new to this. I configured the rule groups and most of it in the leave request part. But its not working. We are not doing any new customized services. Just going for the out - of - the - box services.
