Hi,

My apologies for not providing more direction, however, I've been with the product over three years now and am a bit rusty on the Free Trial Offers. Last stab, I would say to try downloading the Edge Series, there "should" be a Designer client sitting embedded in that. When you go to install, if you can, choose "client tools", that should bring out the Designer application... If all else fails, you may need to link up with a Sale Rep to guide you through what you want to try out before you buy.

Universe Designer is essentially part of Business Objects' Enterprise suite and is not available as a trial. You will need to get in touch with your sales people/account manager/SAP to request a trial.

And as John suggested, your best bet would be to download Edge 3.xx which includes Designer.
