Gateway trace files.

Hi,

I have a gateway installed on my windows mechine for optimiser to communicate with SCM, i am wondering there are many directory;s with naming convention cpxa....are being created in /usr/sap/<SID>/G<instance no>/log.

and these files occupied more space. can i delete these files and please let me knwo what are these directories.

Dont worry about the directorys as they create when the optimizers not working. when optimisers are working these directory's are being created and deletes automatically if there are no errors.

but if there are errors when optimizers are running this will create a directorys and you can delete them if the optimizers are working correctly.
