C4C Report Navigation to TI

Dear C4Cers,

we have created a custom report based on a joined data source of oppi header, oppi item and account. Due to this join the report seems to have lost all "Navigation targets". How can we reinstate the link between report line and BO?

The basic view of this report shows an opportunity item enriched with header and customer details. It would be nice to jump to the opportunity and maybe even to the account from clicking on the line in the report.

Searching previous threads and blogs I could only find tutorials for navigating to other reports but not to TIs.

Hi Dominik

The navigation targets flow into custom report from Standard Data Sources. However please ensure you have enabled "UUID" fields from Standard Data Sources into your report.

If it still does not work, please raise an incident

Thanks for the answer. Indeed, when I add the ID fields those are clickable even in the custom report.

Though it is a pity that the other header fields still do not have navigation targets even if they clearly belong to the same object. This makes it difficult to use for the users. They need to know exactly which of the fields to click on.

Navigation can only be established on Node ID/UUID fields, that is the way it works in C4C 🙂
