Dear Sir or Madam, Power BI Pro has several features leaving SAP Lumira too far behind:
[1] Drill down according to any sequence of dimensions. In Analysis, you can add any dimension, causing the result set to break up to Cartesian product. You can do exactly this also in Power BI, and drill-down according to these "hierarchies". You can even have such hierarchy for each axis and choose to drill up vertically or horizontally! In SAP BO Lumira, you can use only standard hierarchy (exclusive 1:N relationships, no Cartesian product). In Power BI, you can drill down only for selected member, or for all members. You can drill down in a way you see the previous higher-level members or in a way you don't. You can choose this when drilling down, not when creating a report.
[2] Bidirectional cross-filtering. In SAP BO Lumira, Bidirectional Cross Filtering works only for hierarchies. Let's take an example - I got category managers and different companies in a holding. That means that a single material can be assigned to multiple CMs. There are three filters in the report: Company, Category manager and Material. If a user chooses a particular CM, and then tries to filter for Material, all materials are displayed. In Power BI, only values for filtered CM are displayed. This results in terrible user experience!!!
[3] Relationships between visuals - one-click filtering. In SAP BO Lumira, you can select multiple visual elements in a single, particular visual (graph). However, it has no other effect than just displaying (except the current properties of a last selected area) count of selected areas so far. With no other purpose or effect whatsoever. In Power BI, you can edit interactions between visuals - if you select one, all others gain options "Filter, Highlight or None". You can, of course, edit these interactions for any combination of 2 visuals independently, including direction (e.g. from Graph1 to Graph2 as a filter, but from Graph2 to Graph1 as Highlight)! This is how reporting becomes really interactive.
Power BI is main reporting tool in my company. I advocate for switching to SAP BO, but I keep getting questions from management about these features. And I do not have any answers. Please let me know when will be these features implemented! Thank you!
