availability check against PO

Pls advise. Thx.

• Example:

Open PO qty 1pc against storage location A (MMBE shows on-order stock 1pc) & delivery date Jan 12.

No unrestricted stock against storage location A.

When creating sales order qty 1pc (only this one sales order against storage location A in the system), the delivery date Jan 16 proposes.

• My understanding:

As GR is 2 days in MM(no other dates available), and PO delivery date is Jan 12, MD04 shows Jan 14 for this PO. Am I right? But why propose the delivery date Jan 16 instead of Jan 14? Any more customizations?

ps. The box "inclu purchase orders" is checked in OVZ9.

You may need to check the route data at the sales order -> item level (item -> shipping tab).

Hi Shiva,

Route is not customized, so the dates in shipping tab is all the same - Jan 16 (proposed by the system).

Any thoughts?

i think it makes perfect sense. for the PO is Jan 14th and GR is 2 days, in forward scheduling, the system proposes Jan 14t plus 2 days, which is Jan 16th.

The delivery date in PO is Jan 12 instead of Jan 14. MD04 shows date as Jan 14 for this PO by adding 2 days (GR date). In my view, the delivery date in sales order should be Jan 14 as no other dates/lead time is maintained. But why the system proposes Jan 16 for sales order?

Any thougths?
