Hierarchy not showing up correctly in Design Studio

Hi All,

I am creating a report on Design Studio 1.6 SP6 based on a hierarchy dimension.

I would like to give the users the ability to select the values in a hierarchical fashion for which I have enabled the hierarchy and used Tree component and various other filter components like dimension filter but not all values are showing up in the hierarchy.

The dimension I am using for this is Fund. In BEx I see more than 50 nodes under a parent node, but in design studio, it is just showing me one node under parent node.

I have also increased the maximum number of entries in the properties section but that did not help. Can someone please let me know why all the entries are not showing up in the hierarchy.

Hi - is Fund a hierarchy in the BW backend? Is it activated as a hierarchy in BEx? Some screen shots would be helpful...thank you

Yes, Fund hierarchy is activated in BEx and I have also activated in Design studio in edit initial view.

Hiearchy works fine when I use it on crosstab, but when I use Fund in filter and tree components, it doesnt show up compltely, it shows only one or two nodes.

Dear Poojitha,

Can you please check if the authorizations are set properly in Design Studio.

Also, please ensure that the required nodes are properly set in Tree Component of Design Studio.
