Dimension filter issue

Hi there!

We use Design Studio to create some graphs and tables filled by data coming from HANA views.

When we apply a filter (using an Dimension Filter type Object) in a table, and there is no data affected by this selection, the behaviour of the table does not change (instead of showing the "No data" message, like when we use a simple "setfilter" in the DataSources). These filter objects impact directly in the DS loaded in Design Studio, applying the filter in the indicated variable.

We want the table (or graph) to show the message NO DATA (the right side), instead of showing the same data before the filter application (left side).

We are using Design Studio 1.6 SP2.

Please, be so kind and if someone knows a workaround to get that result, we would appreciate it.

Dear Customer,

Are you using JDBC or HTTP Connection for HANA Datasource?

Please note that HTTP Connection is recommended for HANA Datasource as per the following KBA:

KBA 2421490 - Standard connection for HANA Data Source in Design Studio Applications

Also, please refer the following SAP Note:

2154859 - Design Studio - Support Note for SAP HANA

Thanks & Regards,
