Move new WEB IDE App to B1 HANA Production Server

Hi,

I have created a new B1 SAPUI5 app in the SAP Web IDE and now need to move it to the production server which is an on-premise HANA system.

I have exported as a .zip file from the Cloud Platform and moved to the production server. I have assumed this .zip file is a Delivery Unit.

Then I tried to use SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Management to import it to the production system but apparently it only supports .tgz format and not .zip.

Specific question: How do I deploy this new web app.

General question: Is there a good blog, video or document somewhere on the best way to deploy these apps for B1? I have tried to use the document at the link below but it seems like it is overkill and not specifically for B1.

Hi, the zip file isn't a delivey unity. It contains only front end components which shouls be merged with your XS APP project (with the backend logic) on the HANA server.

Please check this video (actually the whole unity is useful for your case) and see how to deploy a SAPUI5/Fiori app to an onpremise HANA system.
