Error while installing /IMO/D_CCA10 and /IMO/D_OPA10 ADSO

While trying to install /IMO/D_CCA10, and /IMO/D_OPA10 the following error occurs.

Characteristic 0PLANT must equally be a navigation attribute of char. 0PM_LOCWKCT

n the specified info object 0PM_LOCWKCT , the characteristics 0PLANT is not available. As it is a created through characteristic reference type, this info object can’t be edited. Is there any possible solution for this issue?

Hi,

Based on your second picture, I see that InfoObject 0PM_LOCWKCT is currently inactive.

Maybe you could try to install the content for that InfoObject or directly activate the InfoObject.

As you have already mentioned, characteristic 0PM_LOCWKCT has been created as a reference characteristic of 0WORKCENTER. As such, char. 0PM_LOCWKCT, will inherit the data type, length, and the master data (attributes, texts, and hierarchies, attributes, tables, values etc. from 0WORKCENTER.

If 0WORKCENTER does not have 0PLANT as an attribute, it would also not be available in 0PM_LOCWKCT. Hence you need to add 0PLANT as an nav. attribute to 0WORKCENTER.

For referencing key figures type, data type, and currency or unit of measure are shared with ref. key figure.

Additional infos : In D version, 0PLANT is a compounding attribute of 0WORKCENTER, not a nav. attribute.

For other errors, e.g. 0EQUIPMENT, add 0PM_LOCWKCT as nav. attribute.

Adding 0PLANT to the 0WORKCENTER might affect other objects. (this is going to be a big change)

I compared it with earlier version of BW content, there was no difference.

Also is it advisable to modify the standard content while installing the BI Content ?

But 1. 0workcenter is already compounded with 0plant.

2. We are getting error while installing the standard content.
