Activating ABAP Web Dynpro's in transaction SICF

I need access to activate ABAP Web Dynpro's in transaction SICF but don't want access to anything else. It seems that I need to use authorisation object 'S_ICF_ADM' but I can't get this working. Can anyone guide me as to the values I need in there ?

thanks,

Malcolm.

Hi Malcolm,

Try to activate the services using this link:

[Active services in SICF|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/46/d28dfa34bb12bee10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm]

I hope it helps.

Your authorisation consultant(s) should be able to help you easily. This is not really a WDA question.

On the other hand, why you need to create some special authorisations for SICF? Normally I would say that Basis (with SAP_ALL) will activate the needed service(s) for you. It is a "one time" thing that has to be done in each system. You don't have to be activating the services daily or weekly, etc.
