Business Object Modeling in ESR (CE EhP 1)

Hi guys,

is anybody out there with a little more experience in modeling Business Objects in the ESR coming with the CE EhP 1? Did SAP create any Business Object models or Business Object Node models that can be viewed to clarify the whole process? I didn't find them in the ESR downloads for ESM ERP 603

I found a very nice explanation of the dependencies of BOs and BO Nodes here [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ff848c5f-0601-0010-bfa6-dbba84f9979c] and tried to build the PurchaseOrder example within ESR. Unfortunately this is a little confusing.

Right now I created the following objects:

BO model: PurchaseOrder

- BO: PurchaseOrder

-- linked to PO Node as composition: PurchaseOrderHeader

-- linked to PO Node as composition: PurchaseOrderItem

--- which is itselt linked to BO Node Product as association, due to the fact, that each PurchaseOrderItem has a ProductId

Each PO Node is specified in a PO Node model that consists of:

PO Node (for example PurchaseOrderHeader)

- linked to a Data Type (PurchaseOrderHeader from the SAP BASIS 7.11 SWCV)

Questions:

- Is this approach at least to some degree the way BOs are modelled in the ESR?

- Are there any BO models created by SAP?

- Is it correct to create the top element for example the BO PurchaseOrder in the PO model PurchasOrder or is this nonsense?

Thanks for any help,

Mane
