Analysis process designer 1

Hi,

Current scenario : i refresh a workbook using previous month selection and send the refreshed workbook to the cusomer.

I am planning to automate this process using a APD, i used the query as the source, application server using Pc file as the destination, however i m not sure what kind of transformation needs to be done in this APD.

Can someone help me understand the same.
