How to write the slection condition in BOM

Hi,

a)The BOM selection parametrs are maintained in T Code OPji.(THIS IS WHERE THE SELCTION MATRIX IS WRITTEN.)

this is a sort of matrix which corelates a SELECTION i.d with SELECTION priority and useage.

So first define this.

b) Check which Bom selection i.d is assigned to your Plant ,T'code: OPPQ.(LOOK FOR THE TAB-BOM SELECTION))

c)NOW IN MRP view of material master you define the selection i.d of BOM.

This is where you plan in what priority the BOm for a material is selcted when u have more than one BOM.

Take an EXAMPLE.

SelID SelPr Usage

1 1 Production

2 3 Universal

3 2 Engineering/design

SO,WHEN the system explodes a BOM it will first look for BOM with useage-1(production)

,if not available it will look for useage -2(universal),thereon
