Short dump when opening the segment builder

After the upgrade from CRM 4.0 to 2007, we are no longer able to open the Segment Builder. We always get a short dump (Message_type_X). Anyone encountered this problem before and has a solution?

Hi,

though it is true that in CRM 2007 the GUI transactions should not be used anymore I am able to start the segment builder directly via transactioin CRMD_MKTSEG. It is working without a shortdump.

For documentation I suppose you have to refer to SAP: Help or the documentation available under service.sap.com. The blog posted here might be an alternative as well.

Hi,

It is Great that you are able to access in segment builder in GUI. As per the functionality it can be created in WEB UI Only . segment builder can be found in marketing node.

If still encounter this problem ..you will find the SAP note number in DUMP. Go throught the fesability of the SAP note

in 2007 Marketing Planner is no longer supported in GUI , you have to work in CRM UI .

Thank you for the fast answer. I am just getting the hang of CRM 2007 - can you explain how I can use the segment builder? Or where can I find documentation?
