I have learnt webdynpro watching videos, reading articles and referring to examples provided by SAP. Now I would really like to develop some webdynpro applications. However,in our organization we are not getting any task related to it.

Can you guys be kind enough to share some Webdynpro tasks which i can develop in my free time to enhance my skill.

Hi Jatinder,

you can start by adding an "input field" into the Main View, where you enter a single value (let´s say an airlane code, PO number, employee number, etc...), and after pressing a button, you display some more information about it, into some other "input fields".

In this way, you can practise with basic elements like Views, Windows, component controller, Context elements and events...

Yes, as Carles Bret said, you may start with that then you may start to focus on below-

1. Alignment of the UI elements (develop an understanding of how different kinds of layouts work)

2. Use of standard interfaces/components (Try to follow steps of the WD ALV, Select options and other standard common functionalities from WD help blogs)

3. Explore the standard interfaces/classes you would use in general, let s consider IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE, you may check its available methods and attributes and try to exhaust them in your custom application, this goes with any new class / interface you encounter.

4. Start to avoid code wizard (if at all using it) to understand the auto generated code's depth

Hope this helps for now

Hi Carles and Mohit,

Thanks for the inputs, however I have already gone through many tutorials and know the basic concepts. To get more confident on my skills, I wanted to work on practical scenarios. That's why i posted on the forum.

Anyway thanks for your time and efforts.
