middle initial of 'O' and 'D' get unconditionally attached to last name

A INAMELINE1 input is

HOWARD O NELSON

and DataRight returns middle name of null and last name of ONELSON, when it should return middle name of O and last name of NELSON.

Does anyone know the settings I need to call for this to happen?

This also happens when the middle initial is 'D' in some cases, for example

VIRGIL D LANE

also returns middle name of null and last name of DLANE.
