Semantics F does not contains any Fields

semanticerror.jpgWhile creating an OpenODSView in S4Hana 1610 (with S4CORE 101 SP02, SAP_BW 751 SP3). I created a schema and created two tables - one for master data & one for transaction sales data as given in this SAP document. I also granted permission like this

Create schema YODSDEMO;

Grant Selecton Schema YODSDEMO to _SYS_REPO with grant option;

When I create ODS view I get 'Semantics F does not contains any Fields'. How do I get rid of this error and proceed to build this application.

I also understand, ODS View is BW object and It will interact with HANA DB using SAP<SID> user. So, If we create ODS view on top of external table, SELECT privilege on this external table should be granted to SAP<SID> user. I do not see any user like SAP<SID> can anyone help? How do I get rid of

Hi Kalyan,

this error message usually comes when you have not fields selected from the source of your ODS View. Check the tab ‘Facts’ and check if there is any fields from the source fields assigned to the view fields side categories.
