ALert Mails are not generating

Hi All,

We have an issue regarding ALERT , in which Alert Mails are not genearting in Production system

Kindly help us to resolve this issue ASAP ..

    Hi,

    Check the RFC Destination Central Monitoring Server in tcode sm59 is working fine. Try a test connection and remote log on. And check the technical settings of this RFC destination. If the details point to the same XI server , then in ALRTCATDEF , make sure that the RFC destination of the Alert Server has been set to NONE. Make sure that user id XIRWBUSER is used in this rfc destination.Generally this is the user id that will be used to trigger the Alerts.

      Hi Anushree,

      Execute the report RSALERTTEST.

      Select your Alert Category

      If all the coifigurqation are correct you will get a test alert in the Alert inbox of the user's in the fixed receipent list of the Alert Category

    Hi,

    the write log option will be available in the tcode ALRTCATDEF. from there click settings -- > configuration.

    check that option and try.
