User is directly assigned to courses without seeking manager's approval

Hi,

For a instructor led course in SF LMS, though the 'Approval Required' is set to 'Yes' in both Item and Scheduled Offering level, when a user registers to a Schedule Offering, s\he is coming to the registered users list without manager is able to approve or deny the request. It is bypassing Manager's approval process and getting registered to the course. Why this is so?

Hi ishitabiswas,

What approval process are using? Is it the system defined approval process or a custom one?

If it is a system defined one, let's say First Level Supervisor.

Please check if the user has a supervisor associated in the approval process.

If it is a custom approval process, them make sure that there are people who have been associated with the approval role.

Hi Sumit,

The user is having a supervisor.

This problem is having with a SO associated with an Item, that for 3 employees the approval process is working correctly ans supervisor is getting pending requests. But for some users, it is getting skipped (auto approved) and the user is getting messege that 'you have successfully reserved a seat for the course'.

I have compared the roles for both the supervisors, which is same.

One more thing, when I am looking into Approvals Tab in user's related area, then it is showing the course has been approved by the supervisor.
