SFAPI upsert operation in Dell Boomi got error ( xxx is not valid for picklist field xxx )

Hi,

I've started using Dell Boomi to integrate SuccessFactors with 3rd party system, and query the users from 3rd party system and then create them in succssfactors employee central via API upsert operation.

the basic user is created successfully, but whenever I try to upsert an entity record with a picklist field, I get this error message. I have checked the picklist value in system, no problem with the field value. Also, I can successfully imported the same data set using import employee data tool.

Please see my attached illustration for the message.

It worked out.

EC SFAPI/SOAP requires to fill in the picklist option id.
