hierarchy display in the query

13 Views

Hi All,

I am new to BI 7.0 and working on hierarchy loading in queries.

Following is my hierarchy structure region->country->city

Uder region i have ASIA, Europe

Under ASIA -> india, china

Under City, ASIA->india->Blore, ASIA->india->chennai, e.t.c

Following are the steps i followed:

1. Created two characteristics info object "zRegion, zCountry" with master datas.

Created one characteristics info object "zCity" with master data and hierarchy and with out time dependent.

2. Loading the master data to "zRegion, zCountry, zCity".

3. Rt. click on the city info object and create hierarchy. So i created hierarchy structure with 3 levels.

Region-> Country-> City

Problem: I am quering on Zcity, i am able to see the zcity values, when i try to dril hierarchy on region or country levels, i am seeing ' # ' symbol but not the master data i loaded.

I did see that master data loaded in the characteristic info object "zRegion, zCountry".

Can any body please help out to solve this issue?
