Transaction VA01 drop down search layout

Hello Experts,

When a customer clicks F4 on a field in VA01, for example, "Ship-To Party", he gets a pop-up screen directly "Cust. search using addr. attrb." (Fig. 1) where he can enter details to filter input data.

Another customer while pressing F4 for drop-down for same field "Ship-To Party" he does not get of "Cust. search using addr. attrb." pop-up screen (Fig. 1) where he is forced to click the small icon "Display All values" (Fig. 2) and only then he is getting the "Cust. search using addr. attrb." pop-up (Fig. 1).

Where can I change the lay-out/display setting so that F4 drop-down directly brings up the "Cust. search using addr. attrb." pop-up window (Fig. 1)?

Many thanks for your reply. How can we make sure that user always get the screen like Fig 1 everytime he hits F4?

User actually wants the pop-up window like Fig. 1 all the time.

It is always the last used search help which is proposed to the user.

If he does not like anymore the "Cust. search using addr. attrb." then he shall just click the red cross and then select a different search help and execute this new search help to find the customer number.

Or he removes his favorites.
